Instructions
Pat shrimp dry and season both sides with All Purpose Seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Add garlic and shrimp.
Cook shrimp for 3-4 minutes on each side.
Add Alfredo Sauce.
Add cooked pasta to the skillet.
Toss until pasta is completely coated.
Serve immediately.
Christina's Notes
Fresh Garlic:
Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. You can always substitute for garlic powder, but fresh garlic is best.
Real Parmesan:
Use freshly grated parmesan cheese, not the pre-grated kind.
Low and Slow:
Cook the parmesan cheese sauce over low heat to prevent it from separating.
Reserve Pasta Water:
Reserve some pasta water before draining. The starchy water helps thicken the sauce.
Don't Overcook the Shrimp:
Shrimp cook quickly; cook them until they are opaque, pink and cooked.
Creamy:
To make shrimp and pasta even creamier, add a little half and half or some cream cheese.
Season Well:
When you make the sauce for the best shrimp alfredo recipe, season with salt and pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.
Fresh Herbs:
Add fresh parsley or basil for a bright flavor in this creamy alfredo.
