Texas Sheet Cake Cookies

Texas Sheet Cake is one of my all time favorite desserts. My mother-in-law made the BEST! Despite the name, Texas sheetcakes, or sheath cakes, may not have originated in Texas. While sheath cakes have been around since the 30s, they may be a simplified version of German chocolate cake. Nevertheless, today, they’re still enjoyed across the American south.

  • 20 Minute Dessert: These chocolate Texas sheet cake cookies take under 20 minutes to make!
  • Simple Ingredients: For the cookie base you only need 3 ingredients, and the frosting only uses 4. like the classic cake.
  • Family Friendly: Your family will be drooling over these Texas sheet cake cookies. No need to make these cookies from scratch.
