How Do You Crush Oreos Without a Food Processor?

No food processor? Try putting your Oreos in a ziploc bag and rolling them with a rolling pin into a fine powder. It may take a bit more time and effort, but it still works! You can also use a blender as well.

Making the candy and dipping into the chocolate.

Step 1: Crush Oreos and Roll into Balls

Add the Oreo cookies into a blender or food processor, four to five cookies at a time. Pulse until you get fine oreo crumbs, and add to a mixing bowl. Repeat until the full package of cookies is blended to fine crumbs. Then, mix cream cheese with the crushed oreo cookie crumbs. Mix well with a hand mixer. Use a small cookie scoop and roll into about 1-inch balls. Place on a plate and transfer the truffles to the fridge. Refrigerate for one hour.

Step 2: Dip the Balls into the Melted White Chocolate

Melt Ghirardelli white chocolate wafers as directed on the bag. Dip balls into a bowl of melted chocolate, and use a fork to allow excess to drip off. Place on a prepared baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper (shiny side up). Let the chocolate coating harden.

Step 3: Decorate with Remaining Ingredients for the Snowman Details

Meanwhile, melt the orange candy coating as directed on the package. Use the black sparkle gel or black icing to make dots for the eyes and mouth. Paint the melted orange candy into the snowman’s nose with a pastry brush. Place in single layer in shallow tray or baking sheet onto the parchment paper and let firm up in the refrigerator.
