You don’t have to be a pastry chef to make homemade pecan pie without corn syrup. If you follow the steps below, you will have a delicious pie in no time!

These are the basic steps for making pecan pie (no corn syrup). Refer to the full, printable recipe card below for detailed instructions.

Step 1: Combine the Dry Ingredients

First, combine the cinnamon, brown sugar, and white sugar in a large bowl.

Step 2: Add in the Wet Ingredients

Then to the same large bowl, mix in the maple syrup, vanilla, and beaten eggs.

Step 3: Combine Butter and Flour in a Pan

Next, melt the butter in a pan over medium high heat and then add the flour to the pan. Whisk for 30 seconds and then combine the mixture with the ingredients in the large bowl.

Step 4: Add the Pecan Pie Filling to the Crust

Then spread pecans evenly onto the bottom of the pie shell and pour the filling on top. Next, top the pie with remaining pecans.
