This may be the easiest pie recipe I’ve ever seen! This Strawberry Chiffon Pie is one of the easiest dessert no bake recipes that I have ever made.
My mother-in-law introduced me to this incredibly easy pie. It’s light. It’s refreshing. And, it is most definitely the easiest pie you will ever make.
This is one of those recipes to keep on hand for times when company pops in. Or you have a hankering for something sweet. Or, you have to bring something to a function and you completely forgot (Ahem. Cough. Cough.)
And, if you don’t like Strawberry, just play around with the flavors. My MIL usually makes the strawberry version, but sometimes she gets all wild and crazy and makes a pineapple version that is just as good!
Some other combinations that would be amazing are:
- Island Pineapple Jello/Pina Colada yogurt/a small can of drained crushed pineapple
- Orange Jello/Creamsicle Yogurt/Mandarin oranges
- Cherry Jello/Cherry Yogurt/Chopped fresh cherries
- Raspberry Jello/Raspberry Yogurt/Fresh raspberries
- Lemon Jello/Lemon Yogurt
- Peach Jello/Peach Yogurt/Chopped fresh peaches
Or, you could mix up the crusts by using an Oreo crust or a shortbread crust!
This recipe is just so versatile! You can make whatever your family loves!
I love the idea of adding fruit to the pie too. It gives a nice texture. But, if you’re in a pinch, you can leave it out and it will still taste divine.
What flavor would you make? Leave a comment and let me know.

we have 3 kids (8,4 girls and a 2yr old boy) our 4yr old would turn into a strawberry if we left her lol… she sites with me as i do the “hops” lol and she couldn’t wait till we saw your post so I could write down the recipe so we can try it.
We will have to do something different for the one she wants to make for her nana who is allergic to strawberries.
I am wondering if doing a raspberry jello with cheesecake yogurt and then added some fresh blackberries from our bushes (once they come this summer) would make a good combo… and if my husband doesn’t see me make any various of this no bake dessert he will eat it, he doesn’t like yogurt but i have made many things with it in it (even though he said he would be able to tell, men lol) he never knew and liked them lol.

I love no bake desserts in the spring and summer top because it sometimes it gets too hot and tiresome to be in the kitchen all day baking! Thanks for the recipes because I will be using them to beat the heat!

I’m wondering if you can substitute for sugar free jello, light yogurt and light cool whip I had gastric bypass and too much sugar is a no no
Susan says
My son and I made it with fat free Cool Whip and low fat yogurt for Mother’s Day. It turned out great!

does sound super easy, but super good!

My aunt makes something like this all time – with no Jello! She uses a container of frozen strawberries instead! I mixed the berries and yogurt in a blender, fold in the cool whip, put in the shell and freeze.

Great suggestion, Claire! This sounds like a great alternative to using jello! I’ll have to give it a try!

I would love to try this but with an allergy to beef products, what do you suggest I substitute for the jello ?
I can find something instead of yogurt with no problem .
These pies sound so tasty and refreshing and light.

That’s a great question, Flavia! I honestly don’t know the answer though. I will post your question on my Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/ItsAKeeper, and see if anyone can help. I’ll be sure to post the results here.
Thanks for reading!

You won’t be sorry!!! So far, we’ve had strawberry, pineapple and orange. My fave is the orange! 🙂 It’s even better when you add fresh fruit, too!
Enjoy!
