These Churro Bites remind me of Disney World. Do you ever associate a food you love with the first time you had it? I do. Therefore, everytime I eat churros, it brings me a little extra happiness. My churro bites will definitely bring your family happiness and smiles.

  • light brown sugar
  • butter
  • cinnamon
  • whole milk
  • baking powder
  • flour
  • salt
  • sugar

How to Make Homemade Churros   – Step by Step

Mix ingredients in a bowl, finished mix in a bowl and bites in the mold for churro bites
  • Make Batter: First, in a bowl, mix the light brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon and milk until completely mixed and next, stir in flour, salt and baking powder until mixed.
  • Coat: Second, coat molds lightly with oil.
  • Fill: Fill mold until almost full and leave some room for the batter to rise.
  • Cover: Next, cover egg molds with foil, stack egg molds on trivet and next add a cup of water to the instant pot.

  • Cook: Then pressure cook on high for 11 minutes. Allow the instant pot to naturally release pressure for ten minutes then quick release.
  • Pop Out: Remove molds and pop out the churro bites.
  • Toss: Meanwhile, mix the cinnamon and sugar together and finally, toss the bites in mixture until fully coated.

Ingredients
  

  • cup light brown sugar
  • cup melted butter
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Coating:
  • cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the light brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon and milk until completely mixed.
  • Stir in flour, salt and baking powder until completely mixed and batter is thick.
  • Spray paper towel with cooking oil. Coat egg molds until lightly coated.
  • Spoon in batter evenly distributed in all egg mold cups until almost full. Leave some room for the batter to rise.
  • Cover egg molds with foil, stack egg molds on trivet and add a cup of water to the instant pot.
  • Close instant pot lid and set the pressure valve close. Pressure cook on high for 11 minutes. Allow the instant pot to naturally release pressure for ten minutes then release the pressure valve.
  • Remove egg molds and pop out the churro bites.
  • Mix the cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl, toss the churro bite in sugar cinnamon mix until fully coated
