Caesar Deviled Eggs

Caesar Devilled eggs are my new “go to” deviled egg recipe because this flavor packed bite can not be beat. It’s the perfect mash up between two classic recipes with that cheesy, salty, umami taste that is so unique and satisfying.

This easy devilled eggs recipe combines two of my favorite things. Yummy Caesar salad flavor and scrumptious deviled eggs which when combined make Caesar Deviled Eggs. They will be the perfect new dish to take to your summer gatherings and barbecues or to finish off any great buffet spread.

Why this Easy Deviled Eggs Recipe Works

Even though they’re good for you, hard boiled eggs, by themselves, can be very bland.  Then you have devilled eggs.  While also great, they can also become boring.  Having this easy deviled eggs recipe is a bright new take that will have everyone grabbing seconds (as well as thirds).

How to Make Caesar Devilled Eggs – Step by Step

  • Step One:  First, prepare hard boiled eggs. Next, cut eggs and place yokes in a food processor, then combine with all the ingredients. (Photo 1 below)
  • Step Two: Next, add the fresh lemon juice.  (Photo 2 below)
  • Step Three: After processing, place egg mixture in a dish to make sure that it has all combined and there are no lumps. (Photo 3 below)
  • Step Four:  Then, place egg mixture in a plastic bag. Next, work the mixture down to the bottom of the bag. Next, cut off the tip of one side of the bag and fill each of the egg whites by squeezing the egg mixture out of the bag. Finally, refrigerate 1 hour before serving.  (Photo 4 below)

The traditional way to prepare hard boiled eggs for amazing deviled eggs:

  • Transfer eggs to a colander; next, place eggs under cool running water to stop the cooking process and finally, peel your eggs.

Instant Pot Recipe:

My favorite method for cooking hard boiled eggs for devilled eggs.

  • First, pour water into the inner pot and place in your Instant Pot.  Place eggs in the inner pot on the included steam rack.
  • Second, select Pressure Cook or Manual, set to High pressure and adjust to 5 minutes.
  • After cooking, let sit 5 minutes for a Natural Release, then Quick Release.
  • Finally, let soak in ice water bath for 5 minutes for fast cooling and easy peeling.

How Do You Make Deviled Eggs – Tips

There is nothing worse that trying to make pretty perfect eggs for your devilled eggs and they come out terrible. For that reason, here are a few ideas for peeling and presenting your deviled eggs. Below are some great tips:

  •  Try using older eggs. They work better and therefore don’t stick as much.
  •  Don’t forget running the eggs under cold water or placing them in an iced bath after cooking. Without a doubt, it helps the egg not adhere to the shell.
  • Crack around the whole egg gently and then roll the egg to break up the shell by applying gently pressure.
  • Also, cut off just a little bit of the egg white on the bottom so that it lays flat and is easier to fill and present.
