Recipe FAQs about this Breakfast Recipes

Folding a crunchwrap may seem a bit tricky at first, but with a little practice, you’ll get the hang of it. Start with a large tortilla with a scoop of filling in the middle. Fold the bottom edge up towards the filling to create a half circle shape. Then going in a circle, fold the right side inward, slightly overlapping the previous fold. Continue this process until you have a sealed pentagon shape.

Yes! Assemble your crunchwrap and freeze for about an hour to become firm. Once frozen, place your uncooked, sealed crunchwrap into an airtight bag or container. Label the bag with the date and store in the freeze for up to 3 months. To eat, thaw the breakfast wrap and cook accordingly.

Absolutely! You can use different types of sausage to customize the flavor of your homemade crunch wrap. Whether you prefer spicy sausage for an extra kick or a milder variety for a more subtle taste, feel free to experiment with what suits your palate.

Of course! Although it is best fresh, you can wrap in plastic wrap and store in the fridge until you are ready to eat. Reheat by air frying or microwave for 10 seconds, flipping once.

Christina’s Notes

  • Cook the Fillings Separately: Cooking each filling on its own keeps the eggs fluffy and the hash browns crisp instead of soggy.
  • Seal the Folds Tightly: A tightly folded wrap holds its shape better once it hits the pan.
  • Cook Folded-Side Down First: This helps set the seal before you flip the wrap over.
  • Cool Before Freezing: Let assembled wraps cool completely before wrapping and freezing, or condensation can make them soggy.
