  • Pizza dough:
  • flour
  • sugar
  • salt
  • active yeast
  • warm water
  • refried beans
  • taco meat
  • shredded cheese
  • shredded lettuce
  • tomato
  • sliced black olives

How to Make Sheet Pan Taco Pizza – Step by Step

Making the Pizza dough. Bowl of water then with yeast added then the final mix.
  • Yeast: First, in a mixing bowl, sprinkle sugar, and add water and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Dough:  Second, add the flour, salt and stir well using a dough hook. Knead for 10 minutes until a ball forms.
  • Rest: Next, place dough ball in an oiled bowl and cover, let homemade pizza dough rise for 1-2 hours until dough doubles in size.
  • Roll:  Spray cookie sheet pan with oil and press dough.
Crust rolled out on a sheet pan, then with sauce and crust added and finally the toppings.
  • Bake: Then bake dough for 10 minutes on 375 degrees.
  • Toppings:  Remove pizza crust and top with beans, meat and cheese. Continue to bake for 5 minutes.
  • Fresh Toppings: Finally, remove pizza and add the lettuce, tomatoes and olives.

Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 1 refried beans
  • 1 lb taco meat, prepared
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 to mato diced
  • 1 4 oz black olives, sliced can

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add the sugar, water and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Add the flour and salt and mix well using a dough hook. Knead for 10 minutes until a ball forms.
  • Place dough ball in an oiled bowl and cover, let dough rise for 1-2 hours until dough doubles in size.
  • Spray sheet pan with oil and lay out dough until it completely covers the pan. 10 x 15 pan. Use less dough for a thinner crust.
  • Bake dough for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
  • Remove pizza crust and top with beans and then meat.
  • Add the cheese and bake for 5 more minutes.
  • Remove pizza and add the lettuce, tomatoes and olives.
