Why I Love Pork Chops
Pork chops are one of my go-to protein sources. I love that pork provides nutrients that are hard to get from plant based diets alone. They’re rich in vitamin B-12, iron, zinc and essential fatty acids.
I also love that pork can give us a shot of extra motivation and concentration because it’s packed with protein, selenium and choline to keep us going and energized.
There are more than 3,500 family farms in Ohio that raise enough pork to feed about 25 million people. The next time you’re at the grocery store or farmer’s market, you just may be supporting Ohio farm families that are producing this nutritious, sustainable protein.
