Recommendations for Storing the Chocolate Chip Granola Bar

Ideally, you can store your chocolate chip granola bars for up to a week in an air tight container on the counter. After that, they tend to taste a little stale.

Alternatively, you can store them in the freezer for up to three months in an air tight container and let them thaw on the counter overnight before serving.

They key to this recipe is you have the control. No unnecessary additives or preservatives, no corn syrup or any other ingredient that you do not want your children to have.

What a perfect marriage of textures. I would never have thought of the rice cereal, but it’s such a great idea. I make lots of granola and now, I’ll be adding rice cereal to all the recipes. Thanks so much for sharing your recipe!
