  • 6 Cod Fillets: Or whatever type of fresh fish you might enjoy such as mahi mahi or tilapia.
  • 1 teaspoon House Seasoning Blend: This is the perfect blend of salt, black pepper, garlic powder etc. all in the same bowl.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil: Or other light vegetable oil.
  • 10 Taco Shells: Flour tortillas or corn tortillas.
  • 1 bunch Spinach: I like to use pre-washed baby spinach

How to Make Cod Tacos

Tilapia Fish Tacos

STEP 1: PREPARE FISH

Season cod fillets with House Seasoning Blend and then add olive oil to a large skillet and heat over medium high heat. Next, add filets to hot pan and cook on each side 3-4 minutes.

STEP 2: BUILD TACO

Next, take off heat and place fish on spare plate.Add spinach to taco shell.

STEP 3: FINISH TACO

Finally, add fist to taco shell and then top with all your favorite toppings or fish taco sauce.

These Easy Fish Tacos with Cod are great for a busy weeknight. Fish tacos are super easy and are done in 30 minutes.

  • Season both sides of the fish with All Purpose Seasoning Blend and Chili Lime Seasoning. 
  • Add olive oil to a large skillet and heat over medium high heat.  
  • Add filets to hot pan and cook on each side 3-4 minutes.
  • Take off heat and place fish on plate.
  • Add coleslaw mix to each tortilla
  • Flake half of a cod filet onto each taco.
  • Drizzle with Cilantro Lime Sauce.
  • Squeeze lime wedge over taco before serving
