Why this Strawberry Jello Shot Recipe is a Keeper

These Jello shots are made with strawberry Jello, vodka, and Starburst candies. They’re a fun twist on the classic party favorite, especially during strawberry season. Here are a few reasons why you’ll want to try this basic Jello shot recipe with a delicious strawberry flavor:

  • Easy Ingredients: All of the ingredients for these pink Starburst Jello shots can be found in your kitchen or local Walmart. This is the perfect beginner’s recipe; it doesn’t get much easier to make!
  • Only 5 Ingredients: This is one of our favorite vodka Jello shots recipes, as it uses only 5 ingredients.
  • Versatile: Easily mix up these shots with your favorite flavor of Jello mix or Starburst candies.

What Else Can I Add to the Jello Shots?

Clear cups are displayed on a white scalloped cake stand. A pink candy piece tops each shot, with more candies in the background.

Jello shots can be made with other kinds of liquor, such as tequila or coconut rum instead of vodka, or even Everclear. However, too much alcohol will overpower the Jello flavor, so if you don’t want the alcohol to taste too strong, you can water it down. You can also serve these shots in fancy cocktail glasses to make them a little more upscale.
