These addictive Crock Pot Lil’ Smokies appetizer is super easy to make and perfect for a potluck! With only 3 ingredients you can have a classic finger food everyone loves!
Hey y’all! I’m so excited to be here joining in Christina’s Slow Cooking Summer Series! Just in case we’ve never met before, I’ll introduce myself quickly! I’m Jaime, the recipe creator & resident crazy lady behind Mom’s Test Kitchen, where we try to answer the hardest question your family can ask – “What the ‘forks’ for dinner?” I’d love for y’all to stop by anytime!
When Christina asked me to share one of my favorite slow cooker recipes with y’all, I knew exactly which one I was going to make. This Crock Pot Lil Smokies recipe is definitely an old family favorite! It was always a given at any church fellowship here in the South, you’d find a crock pot or two full of them! And it’s still one of my favorites. This will probably always be my go-to easy appetizer recipe anytime we need to feed a crowd. You just can’t go wrong with a classic!
Crockpot Lil’ Smokies
Part of It’s a Keeper’s Slow Cookin’ Summer Series
Ingredients:
1 package Lil Smokies
1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce
1 jar (12 ounces) grape jelly
Instructions:
- Drain off the liquid from the smokies.
- Place them in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Pour the chili sauce & grape jelly over the smokies.
- Cover & cook on low for about 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally to combine the chili sauce & the grape jelly as the jelly melts.
- Serve hot.
