This was so easy and was delicious! I had thick boned in chops so it took a lot longer than 6 min on each side to cook through which made the sauce burn on the bottom of the pan so next time I will buy thinner chops or even try chicken. The entire house smelled wonderful, even the next morning. Will def double the sauce next time.

Absolutely wonderful. Thank you for the great recipe. I didn’t have any pork chops on hand, substituted with chicken fillet. Instead of grated ginger & garlic, I crushed the garlic & added thick slices of ginger so that I can easily remove them after cooking.

Delicious. And really easy with ordinary ingredients found in the pantry. Served with seasoned potatoes and baked broccoli. Wow! And thank you.

I did thicken the sauce with a little cornstarch but that was easy enough, I’ll definitely be making again. Thanks for posting!

    • Yes you definitely can. Store in a freezer bag or airtight container in the freezer and thaw overnight in the fridge when ready to use. Then put in an oven safe dish at 350 until warmed through.

Excellent! I rarely fry meat because I hate the messy splatters (even using one of those screen lids). But this was worth every splatter! Made as written and served alongside roasted broccoli with scallion and sesame seeds. Thank you for a quick and yummy dish.

  7. I used this recipe as a base for my own. Made everything the way that this recipe says only I added 1/2 brown sugar for every 8 pieces of meat. I Also let the meat marinade all day.
Recommend this served over white rice!
This recipe is definitely a keeper!👌👍

I used thick boneless pork chops and doubles the sauce because my family likes extra sauce for their rice. I used go-chu-jang instead of sweet chili to give it more of a Korean spiciness and I marinated for 30 min to get a nice flavor in the pork. I also made stir fry veggies . Great easy marinade would use on any meat.

    • You can, but I would cut back on the ground ginger – it’s more potent than the fresh. The fresh ginger is milder.

I doubled the ingredients for the marinade so there would be extra to have when served (it reduces quite a bit) . I also substituted Hot Chili Sauce for the Sweet. Otherwise really good way to enhance your plain old pork chops!
