Tips For Making the Best Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes

Did you ever have flat, not fluffy pancakes and you wonder what the heck you did wrong? Below are a few tips to make the perfect pancake.

  • Do not over work your batter. Lumpy is ok.
  • Let your batter sit. Let it rest for at least 5 minutes before starting to cook.
  • Preheat your griddle. But not too hot!
  • Do not be an over flipper! Wait until bubbles form on the top before you flip.

Recommendations for Making the Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes

I love that these delicious cinnamon roll pancakes can be made any time. Think breakfast for dinner or even a special dessert. They are a fabulous treat for brunch too. Serve with eggs or bacon!

To make a big batch of these or to feed your family at the same time, I recommend a good electric griddle like this one! It is well worth it and I use it for so many different things.

If you are making a lot, keep them warm in the oven on low heat while you finish your batches and them top with the icing right before serving so they stay super scrumptious.
