I have a pot of chili cooking right now. couldn’t wait to try it with your seasoning mix so my husband and I each sampled the chili. I will definitely be using this recipe instead of those store-bought pots! Thank you for a wonderful recipe!!

I made this for some stocking stuffers, but I put some Mexican oregano in it. My family is from Texas, and one cannot make real chili without oregano. Such a thing is considered blasphemous or something by my uncles. LOL! Everyone loved it. 😀
Thanks for the tip! I am so glad they enjoyed it.
Thank you so much for your porketta seasoning recipe, I lost mine from Minnesota, and wanted this old world taste that I remember.

All the seasonings are fine except the amount of salt — I would decrease to about a 1/2 tsp of salt. Way to salty with 2 teaspoons.
That’s what’s great about this recipe…it’s completely flexible to your individual taste. 🙂
