This easy Cinnamon Honey Butter is one of my all time favorite copycat recipes from restaurants. It takes only minutes to make and is the perfect way to jazz up biscuits, toast, bread and so much more!
Why This Recipe for Cinnamon Butter Works
Have you ever wondered how they make those delicious flavored butters? There is a restaurant we go to that makes the most amazing Cinnamon Honey Butter. The cinnamon flavor has a touch of sweetness with the slightest hint of saltiness to balance everything out.
The restaurant serves it with biscuits but I like it on everything – biscuits, toast, bread, crackers, you name it!
What’s in Cinnamon Honey Butter
The ingredients for this recipe are quite simple. In fact, you probably already have them on hand. The recipe starts with softened unsalted butter (of course!). To the butter you add confectioners sugar, honey, cinnamon and just a pinch of salt.
That’s it. Super simple and super simple. Nothing fancy – just a few ingredients are between you and the cinnamon-y deliciousness.
How to Make Cinnamon Butter
The most important thing to do when making this Cinnamon Butter is to ensure the butter is room temperature. Don’t try to make this recipe with butter straight from the fridge. It needs to be soft so everything incorporates nicely.
I usually take mine out of the fridge and let it sit out overnight. Then, in the morning, it’s perfectly soft and ready to go.
I’ve found that the best way to mix the butter is to use a hand mixer. It only takes a few seconds with the mixer and it’s done. You’ll have perfectly combined flavored butter. Of course, if you don’t have a hand mixer (or you don’t feel like taking it out) you could stir it by hand, but the butter needs to be super soft to do so.
