How do you make cookies made with cake mix?

Cookie dough and cake batter have much in common: fat, eggs, sugar, and flour. They really differ in texture. Cookies are mixed to make dough.  Namely a thicker, denser texture. Cakes, alternatively, are mixed as a much thinner batter. Which gives them a lighter, airy quality.

Subsequently, we add more less liquid but keep the fat for a denser, but still moist, batter.
