Looking for a fun twist on traditional corn dogs? Try this Chili Dog recipe!  As part of a sponsored post for Collective Bias®, I made these Chili Corn Dogs with Country Ribbon Corn Dogs.

My 7 year old loves corn dogs.  He would eat them every single day if I let him.  Our favorite brand are the Country Ribbon Corn Dogs from Sam’s Club.  I like them because they are good for quick snacks or an easy lunch.

I thought it would be fun to jazz them up a bit with my favorite chili dog recipe.  It turned a regular corn dog into a chili corn dog!   In addition to the chili, we topped ours with spicy mustard and some chopped sweet onions.

It was delish!

You could also serve them up with various dipping sauces and toppings or incorporate them into your favorite mac & cheese.  You could even use your family’s favorite veggies to turn them into corndog people!  The possibilities are endless!

Wondering if your family will like Country Ribbon Corn Dogs?  Stop by your local Sam’s Club for a taste!  They will be holding demos on January 3 and 4.  Check to see if your local Sam’s Club is participating.

Chili Dog Recipe

www.itisakeeper.com

1 pound ground beef
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 small onion, diced fine
1 ½ tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp chili powder
1 10.75 oz can tomato soup
1 10.75 oz can of water
1 8 oz can of tomato sauce

Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.  Add onion and beef and cook until meat is browned.  Be sure to break up the meat very finely.  Drain off any fat.

Add beef, onion and remaining ingredients to a large pot.  Simmer on low for at least one hour.

No doubt! This recipe is full of taste to enjoy, especially for kids. Me and my family also like this but beef is too much favorite meal. In the beef cuts especially filet mignon is most liked by all of my family members.
