Ingredient Notes
- Caramel Sauce: You might notice that your caramel sauce is thin at first, but it will thicken up as it begins to cool.
- Baking Soda: Baking soda plays a big part in keeping the caramel sauce from becoming too hard. When added, a chemical reaction occurs and the caramel comes out softer and chewier.
- M&Ms: When adding the M&Ms to your mix, make sure you allow the mix to completely cool before adding the chocolates so they don’t melt!
- Chex: Adding Chex to your mix gives it the traditional appearance everyone loves. If Chex isn’t your favorite, you can always substitute it for Cheerios.
