- 1⅓ cup All-purpose flour
- ⅔ cup Granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons Baking powder
- ⅔ cup Milk
- ¼ cup Butter, softened
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- Powdered sugar, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350℉. Grease an 8 x 8 baking dish,
- Combine flour, granulated sugar, and baking powder together in a mixing bowl.
- Add milk, softened butter, egg and vanilla to the flour mixture. Beat on low speed until combined, then beat on medium speed for 1 minute.
- Pour batter into prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool on cooling rack. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve and enjoy!
