Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Wild rice
  • 2 ¼ cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Poultry seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 pound Sausage, cooked & crumbled
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 Celery stalks, diced
  • 16 ounces Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon All purpose seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons Garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup Dry cranberries

Instructions

  • Cook the rice in the broth and 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • In a skillet cook the onion, celery, and mushrooms in butter until tender
  • Remove from the pan and set aside
  • Add the sausage to the skillet and cook until done, making sure it is thoroughly crumbled
  • Mix the rice, sausage, and veggies together
  • Add in the seasonings and dry cranberries, stirring until well combined
