STEP 1: Prep your Pan

First preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a baking dish with cooking spray or parchment paper.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Butter, softened
  • ¾ cup Peanut butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 16 Hershey’s Kisses

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8×8 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together the butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla and beat until combined.
  • Add the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  • Press the dough into the prepared pan and sprinkle the sugar on top.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
  • Immediately after removing the pan from the oven, press the Kisses into the bars, making sure to space them evenly apart.
