Special Equipment Needed for Bisquick Waffles

Waffles With Homemade Bisquick FAQs
Store leftover waffles in an airtight container in a single layer in the refrigerator or wrap them in foil or plastic wrap. You can also make a batch in advance to have them the next day.
Yes, you can freeze the waffles for up to 3 months. However, it’s a good idea to separate them with a piece of parchment paper so they don’t get stuck together in the freezer. Reheat waffles in the microwave, toaster, or toaster oven.
Top the waffles with whipped cream, syrup, more fruit, powdered sugar, cinnamon spice, chocolate chips, or any other of your favorite toppings.

Expert Tips for Making Waffles with Bisquick
- Temperature: Ensure all your wet ingredients are at room temperature. This promotes even mixing and a fluffier waffle.
- Don’t Overmix: Overmixing leads to tough waffles. Mix until just combined, a few lumps are okay!
- Buttermilk: Substitute buttermilk for milk. The acidity in buttermilk tenderizes the gluten and adds a subtle tang.
- Seltzer Surprise: Swap some of the milk for club soda or seltzer water for a lighter and crispier waffle.

I love the recipe, but I am reluctant to make it with almond milk because of nut allergies. Can I make it with ordinary milk. I am going to use regular milk and see what happens. FYI I’m not the one allergic to nuts but I have family who is and I’ll avoid ALL nuts ALL the time.
Yes, you can use regular milk. Enjoy 🙂
