Common Questions About Crock Pot Salisbury Steak
Salisbury Steak is like meatloaf, therefore, you want it nice and moist and as a result it can handle a ground beef with a higher fat content. So you can use an 80/20 or even a 70/30 mix for this recipe.
The plus side of this recipe is that it is fairly low carb. Therefore, if you are watching your diet you can serve my Salisbury Steak over riced cauliflower to make a delicious meal. Or try riced broccoli or zucchini noodles!
Of course, just adjust the quantities appropriately.
Leftovers can be frozen in an airtight container for up to three months.
My family favorites are Instant Pot Macaroni and Cheese, Loaded Mashed Potato Casserole, or easy broccoli casseroleor Garlic Roasted Carrots.

Thanks for reading!
I made this for my family tonight for dinner. It is AWESOME! Tastes exactly like Salisbury Steak should taste! Thank you so much for sharing.
BTW – we made this for three adults and four children and it was the perfect amount. We were all full and there were no left overs. And we are pretty big eaters (I must say – I think it made 10 patties though when I made them. . )
So glad you like it, Angel! It’s definitely a huge fave in our house! It does make a lot and, if do get leftovers, they are just as good, if not better! Thanks for sharing your feedback! And, thanks for reading! Happy Thanksgiving!
Mmmmmm. This would be perfect for winter dinners. Thank you for sharing! This recipe was the MOST popular @ Prairie Story Recipe Swap and you will be featured tomorrow. Thanks again! ~Alison
WOW! That’s awesome, Alison! This is such a great recipe! I’m happy to share! 🙂
How many would you say this feeds? It looks great, I’m bookmarking it to make it, just wondering if I would need to double it or not. 6 mouths to feed in this family!
When I make it, I can usually serve 4 adults and 1 4-year old child and still have a 1 or 2 left over for lunch the next day. I don’t make them huge though. When I form the patties, I try to keep them on the thinner side. I hope this helps.
This looks so delicious. I love the flavors and am always looking for new crock pot recipes.
Bookmarking this one to try soon!!!!!!!!
