Instant Pot Asian Chicken with Honey
Equipment
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup honey
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 teaspoons sesame seed oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- 3 green onions, divided
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 teaspoon House Seasoning Blend
Instructions
- In a bowl combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, oregano and sesame oil; Stir until combined.
- Chop the green onions, separating the white ends from the greens.
- Add the chopped onion whites to the mixture; Reserve the green parts.
- Season chicken with House Seasoning Blend.
- Place chicken in a single layer in the pot and add the honey sauce to the pot.
- Cover and lock the lid.
- Cook on manual setting/high pressure for 15 minutes.
- Allow to naturally release for 5 minutes, the quick release any remaining pressure.
- Remove chicken from pot and set pot to "saute".
- Saute for 5 minutes to reduce sauce.
- Place chicken on serving platter and drizzle with reduced sauce; Garnish with reserved chopped green onion.
