How to Make Air Fryer Biscuit Donuts – Step by Step

Step by step instructions for making air fryer donuts
  • Prepare Donuts: Use a biscuit cutter to cut a circle out of the center of each biscuit for the perfect donut. Use a small round cookie cutter for a doughnut shape.
  • Cook Biscuits: First, place 4 biscuits in your air fryer basket and then cook for a total of 10 minutes at 350 degrees, flipping half way.
  • Cool: Once done cooking, remove and then allow to slightly cool as they will be hot.
  • Prepare Mixture: Next, place your melted butter in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together your cinnamon sugar coating.
  • Dip: Afterwards, dip both sides of your donut in the butter, then immediately dip both sides in your cinnamon sugar mixture. Repeat.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (8 count), Such as Pillsbury Grands
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • ½ cup sugar, granulated
  • 2 TBSP cinnamon, powdered
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  • Remove the biscuits from the can and use a small biscuit cutter or sharp knife to cut out the center of the biscuit. Save the cut outs and use them to make donut holes.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray
  • Place 4 biscuits in your air fryer (more or less, depending on the size of your air fryer). Cook for 5 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Once done cooking, remove. Allow to slightly cool as they will be hot.
  • Place your butter in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together your cinnamon and sugar.
  • Dip both sides of your donut in the butter, then immediately dip both sides in your cinnamon sugar mixture. Set aside.
  • Repeat steps 1 – 4 until all of your biscuits are cooked, and dipped in cinnamon sugar.
