One of the most popular recipes on It’s a Keeper is my Impossibly Easy Butterfinger Pie. And, for good reason. It’s CRAZY GOOD! And, super easy to make.
As soon as I made this pie, I knew I had to try other combinations and flavors. First up, my favorite candy bar…Milky Way!
This recipe is a bit of a hybrid. To add a little sweetness and richness to the pie, in added a can of Dulce de Leche which is a rich and decadent sauce that’s a lot like caramel. It’s very popular in South American cuisines.
Now, let me show you how easy it is to make this pie….
Start by chopping an entire 6 oz bag of Milky Way Bites.  Try not to eat them as you’re chopping them. It’s hard. I know.  Reserve 1/4 cup for the topping. Again, try not to sneak too many.
Prepare a batch of Dulce de Leche if your local supermarket doesn’t carry it (mine didn’t). Here are directions to easily make your own. I used the microwave version. Place 16 oz of whipped topping into a large mixing bowl.
Carefully fold the Dulce de Leche into the whipped topping.
Add the chopped Milky Way Bites and fold into Dulce de Leche mixture. Make sure you reserve 1/4 cup for the topping.
Now, you might be tempted to lick the spatula at this point. But don’t. You still need it!
Pour filling into a store-bought chocolate cookie crust.  Hang on. It’s almost spatula licking time!
Top the pie with an additional 8 oz of whipped topping and then sprinkle the reserved chopped Milky Way Bites on top. And, viola! You’re done! Let the spatula licking commence.
While you’re enjoying that, make sure you refrigerate the pie for about 4 hours before serving. If you can wait that long!
I told you this pie was super easy!  And, wait until you try it! It is sooooo good! If I were you, I would pin this now! Just click the little Pin It button below!
