How to Make Butterfinger Cake Trifle

STEP 1: POUND CAKE CUBES

Once you have prepared your pudding and it is ready to use, cut the pound cake into 1-inch cubes. Then add half of them in the bottom of your trifle bowl or large bowl, layer evenly. Next cover the cake cubes with half of the chocolate pudding, and stir in and spread into an even layer.

STEP 2: NUTTY BUDDIES AND WHIP TOPPING

Using a sharp knife cut the Nutty Buddy bars into 1-inch pieces. Then arrange them around the inside rim of the trifle bowl. Top with half of the whipped topping.

STEP 3: CRUSH BUTTERFINGERS

In a gallon sized plastic bag, crush the Butterfingers using a rolling pin. Add half of the crushed Butterfinger to the layer of whip cream.

Next add another layer of pound cake cubes, then chocolate pudding, Nutty Buddy bars, whip topping, and to finish sprinkle with the remaining crushed butterfingers. Finally, chill in the refrigerator at least 2 hours before serving.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound cake
  • 1 instant chocolate pudding, prepared according to package directions
  • 2 twin packs of Nutty Buddy bars
  • 8 ounces container of whipped topping
  • 12 fun size Butterfingers

Instructions
 

  • Cut the pound cake into 1-inch cubes. Layer half of them in the bottom of your trifle bowl.
