STEP 1: Boil

In a large saucepan combine granulated sugar, cocoa, butter, milk and salt. Boil for five minutes.

STEP 2: Stir in the Oats over Medium Heat

In a large bowl, combine the quick oats (or rolled oats), vanilla, stir in the peanut butter and walnuts if you’d like. Pour hot chocolate mixture over dry ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • ¾ cup Cocoa powder
  • 8 Tablespoons Butter, 1 stick
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 3 ½ cups Rolled or quick oats
  • ½ cup Peanut butter
  • ½ cup Chopped walnuts, optional
