STEP 1: PREPPING

First, begin by preheated oven to 375 degrees. Before you season your chicken with salt and pepper, pat dry with paper towel pat. In a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat add 1 Tablespoon of butter and olive oil.

STEP 2: BROWN THE CHICKEN

Then reduce heat to medium and bring to a simmer until broth has reduced by half. Once broth has reduced, add the butter to the skillet, and make a slurry by mixing together cornstarch and milk then pour into the skillet.

Add the chicken back in the skillet and transfer to the oven, bake 15-20 minutes. Until the internal temperature is 165 degrees f using a meat thermometer.

  • 4-6 Chicken Thighs, bone-in and skin-on
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
