- 1 ½ Pounds Ground beef
- 1 Green bell pepper , chopped
- 1 Onion , chopped
- 4 ounces Mushrooms , chopped finely
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 6 Slices Provolone cheese
- 6 Buns, chopped
- ¼ teaspoon All Purpose Blend, or to taste
Instructions
- Brown the beef in a skillet over medium high heat, and set aside.
- Add the butter to the skillet, and reduce the heat to medium.
- Sauté the onions, peppers and mushrooms in the skillet until tender.
- Return the beef to the skillet.
- Whisk together the flour and beef broth.
- Stir the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning to taste and beef broth mixture into the skillet.
- Simmer until most of the liquid is absorbed, and the mixture has thickened.
- Stir in the cheese until melted.
- Top the buns with the cheesesteak mixture and serve.
