Ingredient Notes for Peach Pie Moonshine
- White Grape Peach Juice: Any type of peach concentrate or flavored juice will work.
- Peaches: The recipe called for canned peaches in heavy syrup. You can use fresh or frozen peaches too. If you do, just add some peach nectar to replace the syrup from the canned peaches. I wouldn’t use dried peaches, though.
- Granulated Sugar: White Sugar is what I used but brown sugar is also fine.
- Cinnamon Sticks: This just adds a warm flavor to this easy recipe.
- Grain Alcohol: I used 190 proof grain alcohol, 151 can also be used if 190 proof is not available. I use everclear.
- Peach Schnapps: Use a bottle of peach schnapps or brandy, the best you can find.
See the recipe card below for a complete list of the ingredients with measurements.
Variations and Substitutions for Peach Cobbler Moonshine
- Use Vodka: Use peach brandy or peach vodka.
- Juice: Try peach nectar juice or peach cider for this recipe.

Finally, divide sliced peaches and cinnamon sticks evenly between the jars. Ladle moonshine into clean mason jars, leaving a 1/2 inch head. Place lids on jars and let the peach moonshine sit in a cool, dry, dark place for 8 weeks before its ready to drink.
Then, get ready to make the next batch!

Expert Tips for Making This Everclear Cocktail Recipe
Please drink moonshine responsibly. This is a good recipe as you can let it sit in the fridge and sip. It is one of the reasons I love this recipe.
- This Recipe Can be Doubled: Great recipe for a crowd. Simply increase the ingredients proportionately and split it into jars.
- Add Less Cinnamon: Not a fan of cinnamon, there is no need to add the cinnamon sticks to the mixture if you want just the peach flavor.
- Alcohol Content: It is difficult to calculate the alcohol in moonshine as it depends on the brands that you utilize. However, for general purposes it is about 35 proof with an ABV of around 17 percent. (This is just an estimate only, please do not come at me in the comments)
- Jars: Any size canning jars that you have to store this Apple Pie Moonshine Everclear. You aren’t going to do the entire canning process. Just fill the jars and make sure they are tightly sealed, even gallon size can be used, perfect for holiday parties.
- Time: The eight weeks is a guide, as the alcohol content is very high. If you like strong spirits with a kick or use a less strong proof then you can drink before the 8 weeks. Please drink responsibly.

I can get some peach cider instead of the peach flavored grape juice, have you ever tried this?
I have not, but peach cider sound AMAZING! It should work well.
Where do you get peach cider?
How long should it sit before it’s ok to drink?
If using 190 proof, it needs to sit for at least 8 weeks.
Can I use 151 proof? That’s the highest I can buy in this state.
Of course!
Where can I find recipe adjuster for scaling recipe up or down. I don’t see the link.
Thank you
Right about the “print recipe” button in the recipe card, you’ll see where you can adjust the number of servings. Make the adjustment and the ingredients will update.
do you have to filter with the cheese cloth? it just removes the floaters??
I would to remove any solids that accumulate.
Can I substitute real peaches?
Of course! YUM!
I was wondering how long dose the moonshine last after it’s made ANF sat.
I’ve kept mine for several months. The alcohol content is so high that it enables it to last longer.
MORE OF A QUESTION.. this calls for 2 15 oz cans of peaches but I just purchased the ebook and it calls for 2 64oz cans.. that seems like alot just wondering which it is?
it’s 2 15 oz cans.
it’s peach season wherei live. can i use fresh peaches? if so then how much. thanks.
Yes! Use the same amounts.
I made peach, raspberry, pineapple, strawberry and limoncello. The peach is the very best. And the peaches are delicious on ice cream. The next flavor is going to be blueberry moonshine. The only thing is,that it gets expensive, because I do not scrimp on the alcohol.I order 200 Proof from Amazon by the gallon.
YAY!!! I’m so glad you like the recipes! 200 proof is some serious stuff. Make sure you enjoy responsibly. 🙂
Which one do you recommend to get from Amazon?
I’m not sure what you’re referring to. Please clarify and I’ll be happy to help.
Do you mind posting a link to the 200 roof on amazon? Just want to make sure I’m getting the right thing.
Here you go! https://amzn.to/32UXqRM
Which one is your favorite?
It’s too hard to pick a favorite…it depends on my mood. My top three are Apple, Peach and Sweet Tea.
If I make this same recipe with Smirnoff Vodka instead of Everclear, any idea how long it would be good for? Is that enough alcohol content to preserve the fruit?
I’m not sure when using Smirnoff, but with the 190 proof Everclear, the alcohol content is high enough to preserve the fruit. I’ve had some in my pantry for 6+ months and it’s fine.
Can’t wait to make. I have frozen peaches in my freezer from my last crop. Thank you so much!!!
You are very welcome!
I have been making this and other flavors for years. The girls at golf love them all. I put them in the freezer and they don’t freeze, naturally with all that alcohol lol, but they do get slushy and it tastes great!
They really are tasty! Especially frozen! Thanks for the feedback 🙂
Tastes great! Any idea of the proof of the final product?
Unfortunately, I don’t have any way to measure this so I’m not sure.
Hi! Do you know how strong this as the final product? Ie. What proof? Thanks!
I am not sure of the final proof. I have no way of measuring it accurately.
How do you prefer to drink this? Any other uses?
I like to drink it straight but you can also mix in cocktails or serve it from the freezer (it won’t completely freeze but it gets nice and slushy!).
I made this and it is excellent! I put the peaches in the hard and they taste great. I will definitely be making this again.
Very disappointed you advertise FREE eBook for the moonshine recipe n when I when to get it downloaded the recipes were of good NOT moonshine but a cost for the book. False n misleading
I’m not sure how my free moonshine ebook is misleading. When you click on the button to download the free moonshine ebook, you enter your email and the ebook is immediately sent to your inbox. There is absolutely no cost for the free ebook. If you didn’t receive the ebook immediately, I recommend you check your SPAM folder. Can I completely drain out the cinnamon sticks and peach slices, and add fresh cinnamon sticks and fresh sliced (uncooked) peaches ( not canned) before I give as gifts??
You can, but the ones that are in there are soaked with flavor (and moonshine). If you plan to use fresh peaches, you will want to add some simple syrup to the recipe because the syrup in the canned peaches adds sweetness to the recipe. You’ll have to play around with the measurements. I’ve never used fresh peaches in this recipe so I don’t have measurements for you.
Do I simmer with the lid on or off? Thank you.
Lid off 🙂
I’m use to canning where you seal the jars. Since this isn’t sealed how long will it last?
Because of the high alcohol content from the grain alcohol, it preserves the moonshine. I’ve had some in my pantry for well over a year without using canning methods to seal the jars.
I have a tree full of fresh peaches. Can I use them for this recipe? Do I need that heavy syrup that is in the canned peaches? Thanks
I’ve never tried it with fresh peaches but I don’t see why not. It would probably be great!
I made it with fresh peaches and added a half cup of Torano salted caramel syrup (coffee flavoring syrup) to make up for the syrup in the peach cans. It was yummy when I tasted before adding the alcohol, anxious to see what it becomes!!
YUUUUUUMMMMMM!!! That is a great idea! I”m going to have to try that! I love Torani syrups!
