If you’re looking some new quick desserts, these Two Bite Apple Pies are perfect!  They’re easy to make and easier to eat!

Quick Desserts two bit apple pies from It's a Keeper

There are times when I get a craving for apple pie.  However, I’m usually not in the mood to whip up a batch of pastry.  Enter, the Two Bite Apple Pie.  This recipe is quickly becoming one of my favorite quick desserts.

Perfect little cinnamon-y apple bundles wrapped up in a light (and also cinnamon-y) flaky pastry.  Is your mouth watering yet?  Mine is!  And, these little dandies came together in under 10 minutes!  What’s not love about that?

I love desserts that don’t require a lot of time between my initial craving and eat time.

This recipe is awesome and I’ll be making over and over again!  In fact, maybe I’ll go make some more right now!

Compliments of It’s a Keeper
www.itisakeeper.com

1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 pkg (14.1 oz.) refrigerated pie crust (or make your own, I use this recipe)
3 Tbsp melted butter, divided
2 medium tart apples, each cut into 8 wedges

In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar, set aside 1 Tbsp. On a lightly floured surface, unroll the pie crust. Brush with  2 Tbsp. melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Cut each sheet into 8 one inch strips, about 8 inches long. Wrap one strip around each apple wedge, placing sugared side of pastry against apple.

Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Brush tops with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with reserved cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake at 425 for 13-15 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Serve warm.

These are perfect! I’m making them for sure. My husband hates cooked fruit, so I can freeze them and eat them one at a time. Love this idea!

That cadlne looks so neat! And the book covers are beautiful! When we were dating, my husband bought me the leather edition of Valley of Vision, but I have other ugly books that could use a face lift 🙂
