What is Monkey Bread?

Wondering what is monkey bread? No one really knows where the term Monkey Bread came from. The origins are a mystery but there are a lot of theories. For now, I believe that it was when bakers used the little left over pieces of bread dough as they weighed out the exact measurements of dough for their bakeries.

Similarly, like the little left over pie crust your grandmother would give you to make a little treat. In addition to my theory, there are a lot more, find them here.
