Reader Interactions and Recipe FAQs

Do I Have to Use Pancake Mix?

Nope! You can make these air fryer Oreos without pancake batter, which can turn into a messy batter. Instead use crescent roll dough or biscuit dough. Crescent dough would be a great alternative to biscuits.

Are Air Fried Oreos Healthy?

I wouldn’t call air fried Oreos healthy, but they’re a little healthier than the deep-fried Oreos that are fried in oil at the fair.

Can I Use Air Fryer Liners With this Recipe?

Yes! If you don’t give the wrapped Oreos plenty of space to expand, they can stick together when cooked and overcrowd the basket. A liner can actually help to take out the stuck together wrapped cookies.
