STEP 1: PREPPING

First preheat your oven to 375 degrees f. Pat chicken dry, then place chicken breasts into casserole dish, brush both sides with olive oil.

STEP 2: SEASON CHICKEN

Sprinkle lemon pepper seasoning onto both sides of the chicken. Next cut lemons into slices and place lemon slices on top on chicken in the casserole dish.

STEP 3: PUT LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN IN OVEN

Add your casserole dish with the lemon pepper chicken to the oven on the middle rack. Cook for 25 mins, to ensure chicken is fully cooked use a meat thermometer to make sure the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees f.

STEP 4: ALLOW CHICKEN TO REST

Allow the chicken to rest for 5-10 minutes best serving. Garnish with lemon zest and parsley, serve with your favorites side dishes and enjoy!

Step 5: SAUCE

Then in the same pan, melt butter over medium high heat.Stir flour into the melted butter, cooking for 1 minute.Whisk in the chicken stock, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan and then add lemon juice and simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly.Season with salt and pepper to taste. Finally, drizzle sauce over prepared chicken.

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1-2 teaspoons lemon pepper, depending on how much you like
  • 2 lemons

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
