  • Almond Flour: Also known as almond meal or ground almond, is made from blanched almonds and is blended into a cornmeal like consistency.
  • Pork Rinds: Instead of breadcrumbs or chips to make this recipe keto, use pork rinds. You can use any flavor of pork rinds that you’d like.
  • Steak: If you’re wondering what cut of steak works best, cube sirloin steak, tenderloin, top sirloin steak, ribeye, New York strip steak or flank steak into bite size pieces.

  • Potato Chips – You can also use potato chips crumbs in place of pork rinds, however it will no longer make this recipe keto.

How to Make Steak Bites in the Air Fryer

STEP 1: PREPPING

First preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. In a shallow bowl, stir together the eggs. In a second shallow bowl, mix together the almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to taste.

STEP 2: COAT STEAK CUBES

Crumble the pork rinds into a fine crumb, then place the pork rind crumbs on a plate. First. cut the steak into bite-size pieces, roll the steak pieces into the almond flour mixture, next dip into the eggs and then coat in the pork rind crumbs.

STEP 3: AIR FRY STEAK

Transfer the steak pieces to the air fryer basket sprayed with a little olive oil and cook in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Cook into a perfect medium. You can turn the bites once during the cooking process if desired.
