I love my slow cooker.  She’s a hard worker in my kitchen.  I love finding recipes where I can assemble the parts the night before and then throw everything in before I start my day.  This really helps get dinner on the table fast on busy weeknights.

This Slow Cooker Parmesan Pork is the perfect recipe.  I love that it comes together really quickly.  It would also make a great freeze-ahead slow cooker meal.

Just put all of the ingredients together in a zip top bag and stash it in the freezer.  Then, when you’re ready to make it, simply thaw the package overnight in the fridge, put it in your slow cooker and cook according to the directions.

When the pork is done cooking it’s incredibly tender.  Then there’s the parmesan sauce.  It’s thick and rich and luscious.  This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Its supposed to be one 4 pound pork roast. The ingredient didn’t convert properly in the recipe but hopefully it’s fixed now. Thanks!!

Going to try this recipe tmrw….What did you serve with it? I was thinking potatoes and add them to the slow cooker at same time, but not sure. What do you think

I usually serve it with rice because that’s what my family prefers. I have never tried it with adding potatoes to the slow cooker — let me know how you make out 🙂

I just found this recipe when I googled “Pork Tenderloin recipes” for the slow cooker. At the top of your recipe it states the “total time” is 45 minutes when, clearly, nothing cooks in a slow cooker in 45 min! lol Also, the list of ingredients lists “dried Italian seasoning” but in the directions it states “basil” I used the Italian seasoning – I hope I didn’t mess it up. it’s in the slow cooker right now!!

My apologies on the time. It probably didn’t convert properly when I changed recipe formats. Use the Italian seasoning…it will have better flavor (in my opinion). Hope you enjoyed it 🙂

You said to put it in a 3 quart crockpot…but you also said you use a 6 quart one…which should I use? I always have trouble with a small amount in a bigger one and a bigger amount in a small one…never seems to cook right!

Mine is a 6 qt and it works perfectly. I always use the low setting too. Hope this helps.

This might be a silly question….but when you cut the roast in half did you mean half width wise or length wise? Thank you for sharing! I can’t wait to try it!

Width wise. I apologize for not being clearer. Let me know if you have any more questions. 🙂

I’m trying this for dinner tonight! But I might also have a silly question about cutting it. Do you cut it because it cooks better or to just fit it in the crock pot? Can’t wait to see what this tastes like! 🙂
