Happy Easter! Today was a whirl wind day! We’ve been on the go since 9 am — enjoy not one, but TWO holiday dinners! One at my parent’s house and one at my sister-in-law Cathy’s. There were so many uber delicious things. I love holidays!
One thing in particular that caught my eye (or should I say tickled my taste buds?) was this great caramel apple dip that Cathy made. I’m going to apologize right now for the poor quality of the photos here….it’s the best that my cell phone could provide!
Compliments of It’s a Keeper
3-8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1-16 oz container of refrigerated caramel dip (I used Marzetti’s)
1-8 oz package of Heath English Toffee bits
In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and brown sugar until thoroughly combined. Spread cheese mixture onto a large serving platter with a rimmed edge. Pour caramel dip on top of the cream cheese and spread it until it completely covers the cheese. Top with an even coating of Heath bits.
Is It a Keeper?
Mmmmm! This was so yummy! Everyone loved it — kids and adults alike! It was creamy and gooey and crunchy! Yumm-o! I HIGHLY recommend that give this recipe a try! Mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmm!
Now I’m off to relax (finally) with a cup of tea! Happy Easter!
