This Easy No Bake Butterfinger Pie is my favorite easy no-bake dessert recipe. It comes together in no time at all and is always a crowd-pleaser!
It’s 10:30 PM…the kids are in the bed. The house has quieted down from a hectic day. You’ve settled in to catch up on your favorite Real Housewives or Scandal. Then you hear it. That faint voice calling your name. “Chriiiistina!” “Chrisssstiiiina…”
You get up and follow the voice into the kitchen. Some strange force makes you reach into the uppermost cabinet on the top shelf, behind the ice bucket. You carefully pull out the shoebox that is loaded with Halloween candy. Surprisingly, the voices have stopped. It seems that chocolate quiets them.
Does this sound familiar? This strange phenomenon happens all the time at my house! It usually happens when there is chocolate or ice cream involved! Now that Halloween is over, I have found that we have way too much chocolate in the house. I know that just sounds wrong, but honestly, if it’s in my house, the voices will know it’s there and they will force me to eat it. No matter how hard I try!
If you’re like me, you need to find clever (and delicious) ways to use up Halloween candy so the voices will stop. This pie is just the ticket! Like the name states, it’s impossibly easy – there are only a few simple ingredients. And, you can make it in a jiffy!
No baking. No muss. No-fuss. Just pure deliciousness, peanut butter and butterfinger flavors! Oh, and if Butterfingers aren’t your thing, why not try Snickers? Or, Twix? Or, Milky Way? Any crushed candy bar works!
A big thank you to my friend, Angelina (the one who shares the recipe for Bacon Glazed Carrots), for sharing this amazing recipe with me (and you!). She even won an award for it!

This pie looks amazing – and is going to be the perfect way to use up all that leftover Halloween candy!
An Oreo crust would be good. A bought one of course so it is still easy. Cool whip has a frosting you can use to replace the cream cheese……..or add to the cream cheese, cool whip mix for a knock your socks off quick pie.

My wife is the greatest cook ever. She is always trying new recipes. There is no telling what she will surprise me with everyday. I want to return the favor. She let me in the kitchen once.. I started a fire. But I think I can make this Butterfinger pie. Thank You for sharing it and I will let You know how it all turns out.
My husband added this recipe to my Facebook so I surprised him with this pie after dinner I have six kids, everyone loved it! Thank you so much, it was so quick and easy. I let my kids help me we added chocolate syrup drizzled on top.
Ok for years I have done almost the same thing just I don’t use cream cheese. I use cup of sugar in my mix. No gram crackers either. Try a Angel food cake, tear it into bit size pieces, mix all your mix candy bars crushed up a bowl or two cool whip add cup of sugar mix then in a large cake pan spread y k he torn up cake. Then pour your mix all over this. Make sure it’s all covered goods the mix.place in refrigerator for an hour and serve. My son’s has always been crazy over this so I hope to share it with others too
Sorry did not see Donna’s comment above mine. I wonder if a pudding mix would work?
What would be a good substitute for the cream cheese? I hate the texture and taste of it!
Try using a can of sweetened condensed milk. I’ve had luck with that 🙂
Maybe penut butter instead of cream cheese.
I couldn’t find the Butterfinger Pie recipe?
Is there another way to make it without cream cheese? Not a fan of it… sorry
The cream cheese provides the structure for the filling, as well as the richness. I’m not really sure what you would substitute in its place. If it makes a different, I don’t really notice the cream cheese flavor in the final product.
I sent a recipe. With out the cream cheese just check out my post thanks
I have made one before without the cream cheese and everyone at church raved about it.
If you leave out the cream cheese you have to keep it in the freezer like an ice cream pie.
Good to know! 🙂 Thanks!
I tried the Butterfield Pie and my family loved it. Thank you very much.
