Ingredients
  

  • 4 Thick-bone in pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
  • 10.5 ounces Cream of mushroom soup, 1 can
  • 10.5 ounces Cream of chicken soup, 1 can
  • 14.5 ounces Beef broth, 1 can
  • 2 cups Sliced mushrooms, I used white mushrooms
  • ½ Yellow onion, sliced

Instructions
 

  • First, in a pan on the stovetop over medium heat, add the olive oil.
  • Next season pork chops on each side with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder and garlic powder.
  • Sear on each side for about 3 mins per side.
  • Remove pork chops from pan.
  • Add cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soups plus the beef broth to the pan and whisk until a sauce develops.
  • Start by placing mushrooms and onions in the bottom of the slow cooker. Then add the pork chops.
  • Pour the sauce over top.
  • Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 5-7 hours until pork is tender.

    • Searing Pork Chops: Searing pork chops before adding it to the slow cooker will improve the flavor and the meat’s texture.
    • Brown Gravy Mix: You can add a package of this or a packet of pork gravy mix or onion soup mix for even more flavor.
    • Boneless Pork Chops: Feel free to use a thick cut boneless pork chops.
    • Low Sodium: To be healthier low fat or low sodium versions can be great in this recipe.
