Italian Chopped Salad This Italian Chopped Salad is a restaurant favorite turned into a homemade favorite. Course: Side Dish Cuisine: Italian Keyword: copycat, italian, Salad Prep Time: 10m Total Time: 10m Servings (change # to adjust recipe measurements): 4 servings Author: Alyssa @ Good. Simple. – 5 oz salami diced or chopped (Whenever possible, I like to order salami from the deli in 1/4″ slices and then chop them into little cubes, but any form of diced/sliced salami will do.) – 1 head lettuce chopped – 1 cup shredded low-fat mozzeralla cheese – 1 cup garbanzo beans rinsed and drained – 3 roma tomatoes diced – creamy italian dressing – freshly cracked black pepper 1) Chop the salami, romaine lettuce, and tomatoes. Combine chopped ingredients in a bowl with garbanzo beans and cheese. Add dressing, mix together, and serve topped with freshly cracked black pepper. I prefer to use a creamy Italian dressing for this salad, but anything goes! If you have an Italian dressing you love, I’m sure you’ll love it on this salad. calories 296 carbohydrates 15 protein 19 fat 17 saturated_fat 7 cholesterol 46 sodium 982 potassium 484 fiber 4 sugar 3 vitamin_a 37.5 vitamin_c 10.2 calcium 26.5 iron 13
