This Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip is a take off on your traditional chicken dip. Healthy being a relative term but you get all the bold flavor with a lot less fat and calories so you can go ahead and enjoy your party.

Ingredient Notes

  • Fat Free Cream Cheese: You can use a reduced-fat cream cheese version if you do not want to use the fat free.
  • Hot Sauce: Frank’s red hot sauce is great or you can order your favorite from the restaurant that you like.
  • Reduced fat blue cheese crumbles
  • Ranch Seasoning: This adds so much flavor to the dip. This ups the ranch dressing flavor.
  • Chicken: canned chicken, shredded chicken from breasts or packets.
  • Low fat Mozzarella Cheese: shred your own to save money.

  • Greek Yogurt – Replace the fat free sour cream with a fat free Greek yogurt.
  • Cheese – You can replace the mozzarella cheese with a fat free cheddar cheese.

First, preheat the oven and mix all the dip ingredients together in a bowl.

Then spray a small baking dish (I used a pie dish) with a light coating of non-stick cooking spray. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese.

  • 1 cup fat free sour cream
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce, I used some from our favorite wing joint
  • 1/2 cup reduced fat blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/2 Tablespoon dry ranch seasoning
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded (or finely diced)
  • 1/2 cup low fat mozzarella cheese, shredded
