How to Make Tuscan Chicken Pasta Recipe

These are the basic steps for making Creamy Tuscan Chicken Pasta. Please refer to the recipe card below for more detailed instructions.

STEP 1: COOK CHICKEN

First, cook your favorite pasta according to package directions. In a large skillet over medium heat with oil add seasoned chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side.

STEP 2: ADD THE CHICKEN BROTH

Add the chicken broth and turn the heat up to medium-high heat. Once you have brought the chicken broth to a simmer, add the heavy cream and reduce back to medium heat. Allow to simmer until about half of the liquid has cooked off and thickened.

STEP 3: ADD SPINACH AND SUN-DRIED TOMATOES

Add sun-dried tomatoes and spinach, cook until the spinach is completely wilted then remove from heat and add lemon juice and parmesan cheese to taste. Before serving check to make sure the internal temperature of the chicken has reached above 165 degrees. Serve with your favorite pasta and enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tablespoons Oil
  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Minced garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt, to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream, 35%
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • ½ cup Sundried tomatoes, oil drained
  • Parmesan cheese, to taste
  • 2 Tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 10 ounces Pasta, Cooked

Instructions
 

  • Cook Pasta according to package directions. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper then place in the hot skillet.
  • Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and continue to cook for 4-5 more minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
  • Add the chicken broth to the skillet and increase heat to medium-high.
  • Once the chicken broth is simmering, add the heavy whipping cream and then reduce heat to medium.
  • Allow the liquid to simmer until reduced by half, about 8 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta, spinach and sundried tomatoes to the skillet until spinach is completely wilted.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese to taste, then finish off with the lemon juice.
