What is Moonshine?

Moonshine is a high-proof liquor traditionally made or distributed illegally. It’s often made from corn and other grains, and its name comes from the practice of distilling it at night (under the moonlight) to avoid detection.

    • How do you keep this from seperating? 1st day in storage there were 3 distinct layers in the jar, pineapple/orange juice, then the alcohol, and then the coconut. is there a way to bind this all together?

      Reply
      • Due to the different density of the mix, separation can occur. Shaking before serving will mix it together again or you can add a little citric acid.
