This Lager Craft Burger is my all-time favorite grilled burger recipe!  It combines my love of lager beer with a perfectly grilled burger. It is layer upon layer of flavor and texture.  Each bite is like a piece of heaven.

This Lager Craft Burger with a perfectly seasoned burger patty recipe.  I use my homemade burger seasoning blend to give it even more flavor and grill it.

During the last few minutes of grilling, I pile on a heaping mound of Beer Cheese Spread.  This stuff is incredible and so easy to make.

  • Ground Beef – an 80/20 blend is a winner for this recipe.
  • Burger Seasoning Blend
  • Cheese Spread, such as President brand, 4-6 tablespoons 
  • Beer Caramelized Onions, made with a nice craft beer.
  • Bacon, cooked, 8 slices
  • 4 buns, a nice one for sandwiches or hamburger bun.

How to Make Best Grilled Burger Recipe

These are the basic steps for making best grilled hamburger recipe. Please refer to the recipe card below for more detailed instructions and nutrition instructions. These burgers are food truck quality with no need to takeout.

STEP 1: Make Mix

First, place the ground beef in a bowl and add burger seasoning blend and then mix with hands until combined; form into 4 patties.

STEP 2: Grill

Next, grill patties over medium-high heat for 7-10 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove from grill and place on bottom half of bun.

STEP 3: Top

Finally, top each patty with a heaping tablespoon of Pub Beer Cheese, caramelized onions and 2 slices of bacon. Add top bun.
